I. Japan Butler Association Overview
Since its establishment in 1890 (Meiji 23), the Japan Butler Association has been dedicated to promoting and developing butler culture in Japan for over 135 years.
While integrating the European tradition of butler service with Japanese culture, we have established a unique service philosophy that combines "Omotenashi" - the traditional Japanese spirit of hospitality - with Western butler culture.

A butler is not merely a profession, but a way of life. The spirit of 'Omotenashi' - empathizing with others and finding happiness in their happiness - is the true value of a butler.
