Since its establishment in 1890 (Meiji 23), Japan Butler Association has been dedicated to promoting and developing butler culture in Japan.

We aim to establish a new image of butlers adapted to modern lifestyles while integrating the European butler tradition with Japanese culture.

Through our certification system, professional seminars, and international exchange programs, we cultivate professional butlers of world-class standards.

Certifications

A three-tier certification that proves skill and knowledge

Japan Butler Association offers a three-tier certification system that objectively demonstrates a butler's skills and knowledge. From the Associate Butler who acquires the fundamentals, to the Professional Butler who independently delivers high-quality service, and the Master Butler who mentors others and manages complex situations, you can advance your expertise step by step. Every certification includes hands-on experience at the butler salon.
